Our Mission

Christ’s Heritage Church Mission:

Christ’s Heritage was spoken in Luke 4:18 which was reaffirming God’s mission to his people. Our mission is the same as Jesus; to proclaim spiritual “Good News;” to proclaim spiritual “freedom;” and to proclaim a spiritual “vision” that God has for his creation. Christ’s Heritage Church embraces God’s timeless mission and sees HIS creation with the eyes of God.

Some of the forms that we use to carry out our mission are:

• Celebration worship & inspiring Biblical teaching
• Dynamic, growing small groups where we experience life together
• Radical commitment to serving our community

  Christ’s Heritage Church Core Beliefs:

  • God is our Father, creator of love; creator of the universe.
  • Jesus is God’s Son who sacrificed His perfect life for our sins.
  • The Holy Spirit is God who lives within each believer.
  • The Bible is wholly inspired, the absolute authority in all matters of life and faith.
  • The church consists of those who have committed themselves wholly to Christ.
  • Salvation comes by way of faith. God’s commitment to his creation was Jesus. Our commitment and faith in God is manifested by a believer’s obedience in baptism (immersion), the fruit and gifting that are the results of an indwelling Holy Spirit; and by lives lived out in doing the “good works” that God has prepared for us.

Christ’s Heritage Church

We identify ourselves as members of an American Restoration Movement known as the churches of Christ. We respect autonomy, both ours and that of our sister churches and recognize the right to be free to follow God’s leading.
